Come and enjoy the beauty of the outer archipelago on a two-day private kayak expedition in the heart of the Archipelago Sea National Park.

 

Described as the most beautiful archipelago in the world, it offers great kayaking opportunities in an ever-changing landscape of sheltered rocky hills, vibrant island villages and thousands of islands. Welcome to an enchanting kayak tour in the open sea!

 

This kayaking tour is ideal for groups of friends who want to spend a weekend kayaking in the outer archipelago with an experienced guide. During the weekend you will get to see the Archipelago Sea National Park a little wider and deeper. We will adapt the trip individually to the wishes and weather conditions of the participants. We will explore deserted islands and spend the night on one of the beautiful islands in the middle of the sea. The beautiful island of Nötö in the outer archipelago of Finland is the starting and ending point of the tour, where we are already in the middle of some of the most stunning places in the Archipelago Sea.

 

The starting point of the tour: The island of Nötö. Time Friday at 20.00 - Sunday at 14.00.

We will meet at Nötö village harbour with the arrival of the MS Utö on Friday at 20.10 and end the trip on Sunday at 14.00. The connecting ferry will leave Nötö on Sunday at 15.50. See more detailed travel instructions to Nötö here.

 

Suitability of the trip: The trip is suitable for groups with previous paddling experience who want to learn and experience more about sea kayaking with an professional guide. Good basic fitness required. Number of participants 4-8. Larger groups on request.

 

Price: 300 € / person.

 

The price includes: Guide, sea kayak and kayaking equipment, meals during the kayak trip (FRI: evening meal, SAT: breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening meal, SUN: breakfast and snack)

 

Kayaking equipment: We paddle SeaBirds Expedition and Scott sea kayaks, which are highly reliable kayaks designed for sea conditions. These kayaks are stable and comfortable to paddle.

 

Take with you: Weather-appropriate equipment, a change of clothes and your own tent, sleeping bag and sleeping pad. You will receive a more detailed list of the equipment you need by e-mail (we also offer the possibility to rent a small amount of camping equipment).

 

Itinerary:

*Friday

Arrival to Nötö in the evening by connecting ferry at 20.10, accommodation in tents by the sea, evening tea and introduction to the weekend-plan.

*Saturday

Breakfast in nature, followed by a review of kayaking basics and safety issues and packing of kayaks. We paddle all day in the Archipelago Sea National Park and have a lunch break on a island. While your guide cooks lunch, you can explore the island or go for a swim. During the day we paddle for 5-6 hours in total, depending on the wishes of the participants and the weather conditions, with breaks if necessary. In the early evening we will camp on a suitable overnight island. On the island we will set up camp, have dinner, explore the island in a free time, swim and have tea in the evening.

*Sunday

Breakfast on the island and packing of kayaks. We continue our kayaking trip and paddle for about 3-4 hours during the day. We will have a tea and snack break on ine island on the way. Arrival back in Nötö and end of the trip at about 14.00.
