Described as the most beautiful archipelago in the world, it offers great kayaking opportunities in an ever-changing landscape of sheltered rocky hills, vibrant island villages and thousands of islands. Welcome to an enchanting kayak tour in the open sea!

This five-day tour of the Archipelago Sea National Park is suitable for kayakers who want to spend a longer time paddling in the outer archipelago with a local paddling guide. In five days, we have time to explore a large part of the National Park, stay overnight in stunning excursion sites, explore cultural history and paddle to our hearts' content.

The starting and ending point of the trip is the beautiful island of Nötö in the outer archipelago of Finland, where we are already in the middle of one of the most beautiful places in the Archipelago Sea.

Itinerary: Tour of the Archipelago Sea National Park. Preliminary itinerary: Nötö - Björkö - Jurmo - Långlandet - Aspö - Storlandet - Berghamn - Boskär.

The starting point of the tour: The island of Nötö. Schedule Thu at 15.00 - Mon at 15.00.

We will meet at Nötö village harbour when the connecting ferry arrives on Thursday at 15.10 and finish the trip on Monday at 15.00. The connection boat leaves Nötö on Monday at 16.30. See more detailed travel instructions to Nötö here

Suitability of the trip: This trip is suitable for you if you already have experience in canoeing and basic paddling and camping skills. We will paddle 15-20 km daily, divided into 1-2 hour sections, with food and rest breaks in between. Paddling pace is determined by the weather and the participants. During the trip, everyone prepares their own food and we stay in tents. The trip is of medium standard. If you are not sure if this is for you, ask!

Price:  490 € / person. Students and unemployed 20€ discount (Prices incl. VAT)

The price includes: Guide, instruction, sea kayak and kayaking equipment, safety equipment, tent fees and sauna fees.

Price does not include: Food, camping equipment, insurance.

Take with you: Weather-appropriate equipment, food and snacks, cooking utensils, a change of clothes and your own tent, sleeping bag and sleeping pad. You will receive a more detailed list of the equipment you need by email (we also offer the possibility to rent a small amount of camping equipment).

Kayaking equipment: We paddle SeaBirds Scott and Expedition and Design Kayaks sea kayaks, which are highly reliable kayaks designed for sea conditions. We have a kayak to suit all levels and sizes of paddlers

More detailed itinerary:

Preliminary route plan: Nötö - Björkö - Jurmo - Långlandet - Aspö - Storlandet - Berghamn - Boskär. This is a preliminary route plan. The final itinerary will depend on weather, conditions and the group. Changes to the route are possible and some islands may have to be skipped if conditions, group safety or other reasons require it. The day trips will be approximately 20 - 25km long. The total length of the trip is about 90 km.

*Tuesday: Nötö - nearby archipelago, approx. 10 km

Arrival at Nötö by connecting ferry at 15.00. Start of the trip, going over the route plan and safety issues and packing the kayaks. Night camping in the Archipelago Sea National Park in the archipelago near Nötö and camping on the desert island. Evening snack.

*Friday: Björkö, Jurmo, approx. 22 km

Breakfast on the island. We paddle all day in the Archipelago Sea National Park and have a lunch break on the island. Weather permitting, we head to Jurmö. On the way we visit Björkö island, where we have a charming café and nature trail. Possibility to swim in the lake. In the evening we camp in Jurmo. In Jurmo there is a sauna and a nature trail.

*Saturday: Aspö, approx. 20 km

Breakfast on the island. We paddle all day in the Archipelago Sea National Park and have a lunch break on the island. On the way we visit Aspö island, where we have a café and nature trail. In the evening we camp in the nearby island of Aspö.

*Sunday: Storlandet, Boskär, Berghamn, approx. 25 km

Breakfast on the island. We paddle all day in the Archipelago Sea National Park and have a lunch break on the island. Weather permitting, we head to the Berghamn archipelago. In the evening we camp in Bergham. Bergham has an old fishermen's farm, an exhibition and a nature trail.

*Monday: Boskär, Nötö, approx. 16 km

Breakfast on the island. We paddle back towards Nötö and have a lunch break on the desert island. Arrival back to Nötö and end of the trip at about 15.00. In Nötö we have a café and a nature trail.
